1. Popsicles in the Park (But Do It Intentionally)
This is one of the easiest wins, and most churches still do it wrong.
Don’t just “hand out popsicles.”
👉 Pick one park
👉 Pick one consistent day (ex: every Tuesday at 10am)
👉 Show up every week
Now you’re not random… you’re expected.
Bring:
- a cooler
- cheap popsicles
- 2–3 people
Talk to parents. Learn names. Build trust.
This becomes less about a moment…
…and more about presence.
2. Neighborhood “You’ve Been Loved” Drop-Offs
This one hits different.
Grab:
- $1–$3 small gifts (bubbles, sidewalk chalk, snacks)
- simple note: “You’ve been loved by [Church Name]”
Drop them off on doorsteps.
No pressure. No awkward conversations.
Just kindness.
👉 Bonus: Do 10 houses a week instead of trying to hit 100 at once
Consistency beats intensity every time.
And yes, people will talk about this.
3. Family Game Night… But Take It Outside
Stop trying to get people into your building first.
Go to them.
Set up:
- simple yard games (cornhole, frisbee, bubbles, sidewalk chalk)
- at a park or open space
That’s it.
No stage. No production. No stress.
Just:
👉 families
👉 connection
👉 relaxed environment
You don’t need a crowd.
You need conversations.
